Temp 100 degrees
Now, everyone knows why it is called  "Hot Nights Hot Cars"
Another great cruise-in, even though it did hit 100 degrees the fans of Hot Nights Hot Cars came out and enjoyed the exceptional display of classic cars and the great sounds of the Fantastic Shakers, and we have to thank Bobby Brantley of Lizard Lick Towing for staying all day and signing thousands of autographs
Wes, Julie, and Joey -- cool as cucumbers.
I would bet the farm that Julie likes this truck!
Can you tell why?
This 1940 Ford Deluxe could be yours for the price of a ticket, The Armfield Civic Center will be raffling this in the next few months, be sure to get your ticket at the next event in August.
I found some of the best hand dipped ice cream,
right here on Main Street in the
Mount Pilot Country Store, Yummy!!
You must try some next time you are in town.
Thinking of food again (one of my favorite past times), I had a terrific chicken sandwich on Saturday at the grille inside
Mt. Pilot Drug, it energized me and I made it through till the end of our event!
Y'all remember Uncle Benny, well he came to visit us in July, it was great to see him.  Below is an email he sent to all his friends in Pilot Mountain.

This past Saturday I was able to visit with friends in Pilot Mountain and enjoy a great Classic Car Event. Yes it was hot but that didn't stop a great many people from turning out to enjoy the town, the classic cars and of course some great music from the Fantastic Shakers Band.
I was able to spend a little time visiting with Bo and the band before they started the show, what a great group of artist that work so hard to entertain.
It was great to be able to walk around and visit with friends I made when working in Pilot Mountain and it was nice to see that the event is still going strong. Everyone should take the time to thank the people that give of their time to put on such a great Classic Car Cruise Event.

Uncle Benny

It's always a pleasure to have a visit from Charlie Brown
