For those of you who really enjoy car shows, Hot Nights Hot Cars is the premiere event in the southeastern United States. Occurring on the first full weekend of each month starting in June and running through October, Hot Nights Hot Cars has to be seen to be believed. Thousands of participants and onlookers descend on the town of Pilot Mountain, North Carolina to mingle with other car lovers. Each month a local winery is on hand to offer their vintages, expanding the draw of people to this part of the Yadkin Valley. The sounds of Beach music and R&B fill the air, performed live by well-known bands, such as the Fantastic Shakers and The Mixed Emotions. The streets are filled with the sounds of revving engines, and the festival like atmosphere is perfect for everyone, young and old alike.
