Mount Pilot NOW in conjunction with Mount Pilot Drug and Hayes Jewelers of Lexington gladly welcome you to the 2009 Hot Nights Hot Cars Cruise-In season! Our cruise-in's are family oriented events offering an open street cruise-in, live beach music, and plenty of food and beverage vendors. Stony Knoll Vineyards will be serving some great wines at each event. We have a wonderful season planned this year with more parking, an upgraded sound system and more. And as always Uncle Benny invites you to share YOUR car stories with him and everyone out on the streets! So dust off your lawn chairs (leave the cooler and pets at home), put the family in the car and head over to Pilot Mountain for some old fashioned family fun!

Each Cruise-In begins at 4:00 pm and lasts until 10:00 pm.

THE FALL FOLIAGE CRUISE

The Fall Foliage Cruise will leave Main Street of Pilot Mountain at 9 AM on Sunday, October 4th.

  • We will travel North on Hwy 52 to Hwy 89, taking Hwy 89 to Galax VA;
  • From Galax VA. on Hwy 58 East to Meadows of Dan. There we will take a one hour break to visit the different shops. Parking will be at Nancy's Candy Factory.
  • From Meadows of Dan we will travel to Stuart VA. where we will have lunch.
    After a one hour lunch break, we will travel down Hwy #8 / 103 to Mount Airy and that will end the cruise.

WE WILL RECEIVE HELP WITH TRAFFIC FROM DIFFERENT POLICE/SHERIFF DEPARTMENTS ALONG THE WAY
MAKING FOR A FUN TIME TO VIEW THE LEAVES AND ENJOY FRIENDS.

  • Mileage for this trip is 126.3 miles.
  • Driving time is three and a half hours.
  • Total time of cruise will be about five and a half hours
  • DEADLINE TO SIGN UP WILL BE SEPTEMBER 19TH.

The cruise will take place RAIN or SHINE!
There will be NO refunds, if you have paid and don't want to go, your goodie bag including a shirt will be mailed to you. Your ticket for the ring drawing will be in the drawing bowl so you can win even if you're not there.

COST OF THIS CRUISE IS $ 50.00 per car/truck:--- THERE WILL BE A CUT OFF ON NUMBER OF CARS WE CAN TAKE.
